HALL OF SHAME
What kind of team would we be if we couldn't rate the all time worst plays in our history. After all we did have 1 or 2 bad games.
1-Brent Mcdugal secures his Abraham Lincoln award for his game which include "4 strikeouts and 8 pitches ago" the occurance happened at Lincoln field 2001.
2-Jay Cirillo claims to be a victim of a pothole in the outfield as the ball bounces off his head and the runner races around the bases. 2000 playoff game.
3-Bryan McCarty launches what would look like a softball out of a cannon. The ball was thrown from right field to 3rd base. The problem was that it missed 3rd, went over the fence, over the street, and hit John Barry school. 1999
4-Mark Lecuyer playing first base decides to try to run a would be home plate victim down instead of throwing the ball to the awaitng catcher. The only problem, "Lepton" dropped the ball en route and blew the game. 1999
5-Deli 66 beats Markay oil in what could be summed up as the worst game ever played by Markay Oil. The deli showed up in work boots, jeans, and cracked eyes. The kicker was the 3rd baseman secured his cigarette on the base and after every pitch took a drag. 1998
6-Joey Riberio dives after a ball at shortstop and missed. Joey in his cutoff wife beater and doo rag, got up swearing and frustrated with the miss. The only problem with his antics were that he hadn't caught a ball hit directly at him all year. 2001
7-After leading 11-1 in the 7th inning, Markay Oil loses to JDS 14-12 behind the Tim Talento throwing error, which hit the runner in the ass and skipped away. Tim Talento & BJ Vernon hung up their spikes after this game and did not return to the team. 2003
8-Seamus Oatis tries to run down an out of play pop up. In order to do so he hurtled a bench of players and a man wearing a cast on his leg. 2001
9-Neil Talento crunches plays a shallow left field against an Nihc player who was 75 years old. Neil got beat and the player rubbed it in, saying "I haven't hit a triple in 35 yrs." 2002 Championship game
10-Kevin Weber sets a tournament record 22 walks in the 3rd inning of a game that the Stampede was winning 3-0. The Stampede eventually lost 23-4. Joel McCarty put out the fire by giving up a grand slam and then a home run for an out. 2003
